Music director Taj Noor's mother passes away

Notable Tamil film music director Taj Noor's mother Habibunnisa passed away yesterday (November 2) evening in Salem.

Confirming the news on his Facebook page, Taj Noor said, "My beloved & affectionate mother HABIBUNNISA passed away this evening at 7.15pm. Her absence is a big loss for me. No one can love & care me than my mother. She is such wonderful and extraordinary mother. Really I miss lot.."

Taj Noor assisted music director, AR Rahman, after joining his team in 1996. He later went independent with director Pandiraj's film Vamsam, starring Arulnithi.

Taj Noor, an assistant of AR Rahman and the composer of Vamsam and Aayiram Muthangaludan Thenmozhi, is coming up with a song for the children of the world. The song has been written by Arivumadhi. But the interesting part is that the musician has managed to rope in top stars of Tamil cinema to croon the song.

Suriya, Jayam Ravi, Siva Kumar, Sathyaraj and GV Prakash Kumar have already recorded their part. Vijay and Simbu are also likely to lend their voices soon for the song.

Meanwhile, Taj Noor’s next project will be Adi Thalam and the composer is very happy that this project has got a lot of scope for him to explore in terms of music.
