Thenandal Studio Limited would be launching the opening night at the Marche du Film at Cannes on the 18th May 2017. This is an important event in the film industry where many professionals meet to trade, exchange and share about their projects.
We spoke to Murali Ramasamy of Thenandal Studio on this and this is what he had to say, “Thenandal is very honored to launch the title of Sangamithra on the opening night of the 70th Cannes Film Festival in France. This is a very special project for us. It is a larger than life period film starring Jayam Ravi, Shruti Haasan and Arya. It is a very challenging project and we are honored that Rahman sir is on board. The captain of the ship is Sundar C with whom we have had fantastic associations with. It is a very very important film in all our careers. It is an honor for us to be launching the opening night in Cannes”.
