THE HIDDEN MESSAGE IN 'THALAIVAR ATHIRADI' KABALI SONG

Kabali's audio tracks have been released on 12th June and #ThalaivarAthiradi is already trending on social media. The lyrics of the rap portion of the song Ulagam Oruvanukka from Kabali was written by Vivek and here's what he had to say about the story behind the much celebrated lines:

"The rap portion of the song was added while the song was being shot in Malaysia. It took 10 minutes for me to write those lines, which was an addition to the already prepared song. The lines Naanga Enga Pirantha Ada Unakenna Poda Thamizhanukkaga Vandhu Ninna Tamizhan Da are not only relevant to the movie's story, but also to Rajini sir. There have been times like during the Kaveri river issues and Chennai floods when Rajini sir supported Tamilnadu, but was criticized about his origin state. These lines represent Tamilnadu people's thoughts about Rajini Sir and depict how much he belongs to them".
