TOP FUNCTIONARY EXITS; MANY KEY EXECUTIVES RESIGN POSTS - WHAT'S HAPPENING IN KAMAL HAASAN'S MNM?

Many candidates of the party lost their deposits with Seeman’s Naam Tamilar Katchi doing better than them. A few executives of the party – R Mahendran, S Muraganandam, Thangavel, Umadevi, CK Kumaravel, Sekar and Suresh Iyer (admin) have tendered their resignations. A press statement from MNM takes cognizance of the resignations and further said that Kamal Haasan would take a call on the same.

Earlier, Kameela Nassar, Nassar’s wife, had also resigned from the party. Many are seeing this as further setback to Kamal Haasan’s political fortunes. Kamal’s colleague Rajinikanth had refrained from launching his own party, citing health issues, some time back.
