According to reports, Kochi police on Wednesday arrested Printo, a 23-year-old member of Mammootty Fans Association at Vadakkanchery. He was charged with the offence of trolling actor Parvathy on social media.

The actress was allegedly attacked online for her strong criticism of Mammootty-starrer Kasaba for glorifying misogyny. Following the online abuse, she had filed a complaint against it last week.

“Police are verifying the details of all those who trolled the actor. More arrests would be made after verification with the help of Facebook and Twitter. Both social media sites have been asked to hand over the IP address of the people who abused the complainant. She had listed out a few names in her complaint,’’ said investigating inspector Siby Tom, reportedly.

Nazriya to act in Anjali Menon's next directorial also starring Prithviraj and Parvathy
