The actor's next film, the multi-starrer Padhinettam Padi, written and directed by Shankar Ramakrishnan, features a star-studded ensemble headlined by Mammootty, Prithiviraj, Arya, Priya Anand, Ahaana Krishna, Unni Mukundan, Suraaj Venjaramoodu and others in crucial roles. The film is set to release on the July 5, 2019.
Padhinettam Padi is jointly produced by Shaji Nadesan under the banner August cinema. Mammootty will also be next seen in the historical fiction Mamangam, which is directed by M. Padmakumar, which is based on the much celebrated Mamankam festival.
