96 is an upcoming Tamil romantic film by cinematographer turned director Prem Kumar starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan playing the leads. While we are awaited to see a release date for the film, the latest information we hear from our close sources is that 96's Tamilnadu theatrical rights have been bagged by 7 Screen studio. 

The film is bankrolled by Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises and the music is composed by Govind Menon.
