Actress Kiara Advani, famous for her role in films like M.S Dhoni: The untold story and Lust Stories had made headline earlier for cutting her hair in a video released on social media. The video featured the actress rapping befor she goes on to cut her hair.
The video went viral and many found it amusing. Turns out, the video turned out to be a promotional campaign for a hair oil brand The video was posted with the caption "Guilty as charged!!! Just had to chop it off, been neglecting proper hair care for too long and thought this was the only solution,".

While some of the followers found it cool and quirky, the video wasn't spared by trolls and the post was subjected to some online banter. Following that video, the actress had put out a post on her official instagram account , in which she endorsed the product which cleared the air surrounding the earlier post.
The actress was earlier seen in the Abhishek Varman-directed Kalank and will be featuring opposite Akshay Kumar in the Hindi-remake of Muni-2:Kanchana titled 'Laaxmi Bomb'. The actress will also be play the female lead in another remake of the Telugu hit 'Arjun Reddy', titled 'Kabir Singh' in Hindi.
