"I'M TRYING TO MAKE IT A HAT-TRICK WITH HIM" - KEERTHY SURESH

Saamy Square is an upcoming cop film directed by Hari, with Vikram and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. The movie has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad and is produced by Shibu Thameens. The movie had its audio launched in a grand manner yesterday. Speaking at the event, the female lead Keerthy Suresh heaped praise on all the people involved in making this film. 

She started off by talking about Shibu Thameens, who is the producer of the film. She mentioned that she knew Shibu even before her entry into the industry since her dad was a good friend of him. She then talked about comedians Soori and Imman Annachi. She said "Soori is like a brother to me. I always call him anna. We both have a lot of combination scenes in the film. I've shared the screen space with Imman Annachi also. It was fun working with them." 

She then went on to thank other supporting cast for their crucial roles by saying "I've known Sumitra ma'am for a while now. I've acted with her daughter in a Malayalam movie and now I'm acting with her. I'm a big fan of Aishwarya Rajesh since Kaaka Muttai. While shooting in Madurai, Silva anna asked me if I'm acting in advertisements for Parotta stalls, because most shops there had my photo. Delhi Ganesh and he used to pull my leg at the sets. Delhi Ganesh sir used to make us laugh in scenes where we were supposed to cry."
 

The actress, however became a bit emotional while talking about the DOP, A Venkatesh. Venkatesh had replaced Priyan after the latter had passed away midway into the shoot. "It is a very difficult task to be the cinematographer for Hari because things are very fast. I miss Priyan sir today. I’ve to talk about him. Because, he passed away mid way during the film. I feel bad for him. There is a jolly video of him talking to me during the shoot. Whenever I feel low, I watch it. Wherever you are, thank you sir."

She concluded her speech talking about Devi Sri Prasad, the music director. "He is the star of the night. Nenu Shailaja was my first film with him, which was a super hit. My second film Nenu Local was a blockbuster. This is my 3rd film with him and I think there is some luck when I combine with DSP. Hope we make it a hattrick. I’ve also sung for him in this. So I’ve made my singing debut because of DSP. So, thank you sir."
