As reported earlier Karthi is teaming up with director 'Pasanga' Pandiraj for a family entertainer to be produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment. Vanamagan fame Sayyeshaa plays one of the female leads in the film.
The film officially kickstarts today, November 9 with a formal 'puja' in Chennai. Velraj takes care of the cinematography department while D Imman scores music. The team would be shooting for 5 days in Chennai before heading to Tenkasi for a 40-day schedule.
Other notable actors who are part of the team are Sathyaraj, Soori, Sriman, Banupriya and Mounika.
In an exclusive interview with us, Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh, the leading pair in the upcoming Theeran Adhigaram Ondru, spoke to us about their experience shooting for the film and a lot more.
Speaking about his role in the movie and the research and preparation behind it, he said, "Films keep having mistakes whilst depicting the police. Starting from how the badge is worn, to how a conversation between a higher official and subordinate happens, there are protocols."
The team had apparently decided not to have mistakes while depicting even minor details about a job as a cop.
