Karthi was last seen in Dev, directed by Rajath Ravishankar along with Rakul Preet Singh. It was produced by S. Lakshman Kumar under Prince Pictures. He has three films in his kitty and there is a breaking update on one of these films of the actor now.
Director Bakkiyaraj Kannan had made his debut with Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo which was received well. He is now working with Karthi for his next and the pooja ceremony for the film had already gotten over. The female lead of the film is Rashmika Mandanna which is produced by banner Dream Warrior Pictures.
Sources close to us have informed us now that the title of the film will be Sultan. Official confirmation on the same is expected to be announced shortly. Sultan is touted to be a romantic comedy film and the shoot for the same is already going on.
The first look of Karthi’s Kaidhi with Lokesh Kanagaraj was released a few days back. Karthi is also working in a film with Jyothika, Sathyaraj, Nikhila Vimal which is directed by Jeethu Joseph in which Karthi will be playing Jyothika’s brother.
