K.Productions were the distributors of Baahubali in Tamilnadu which was produced by ARKA Media Works. On March 23, Arka Media Works released a statement where they said that K Productions owes them a huge sum of 17.6 crores towards purchase of Baahubali - The Conclusion.
They also stated that the cheque sent by S.N.Rajarajan of K Productions was dishonoured due to insufficient funds and that their bank accounts will be taken as security and will be seized. Following this statement, K Productions released a statement in response to the complaints.
K Productions have stated that they deny all claims made. They have mentioned in the statement that the claims are not yet adjudicated by any court and that Arka Media works has breached agreements which resulted in huge loss for K.Productions.
They have also accused Arka Media Works of malignant, malafide, prejudicial and scandalous propaganda that was meant to defame them. They have also stated that they will be taking legal action against Arka Media Works and others involved in this act of defamation, malicious propaganda.
