N. Kalyana Krishnan, the director who directed the movie 'Bhooloham', is directing the movie Agilan starring Jayam Ravi. This is the 28th film of the actor. The film was shot in Chennai in November last year and later extended to Thoothukudi.

Produced by Screen Scene Entertainment, the film stars Jayam Ravi, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Dileep, who starred in the lead roles in Vathikuchi, Kaala, Writer and many more. Sam CS sets the music for the film. Vijay Murugan is in charge of art direction while Vivek is in charge of cinematography.

Most of the scenes in this port-centric film were shot in Thoothukudi and some important scenes were shot in Chennai, Coimbatore. The director has also shot at the largest container site in Gujarat, where more than 80 per cent of the scenes have been shot.

The teaser (A1,420) says that Jayam will play Ravi Rowdy in this film. Also Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the role of a cop. The first look of the film came out a few days ago and got attention. Following this, the film crew has released the threatening teaser of the film today.

The teaser has been announced that the film will be released worldwide on September 15, 2022.
