Director N. Kalyana Krishnan, who directed 'Boologam', is directing his next film starring Jayam Ravi. This is the 28th film starring actor Jayam Ravi. Filming for the film started in Chennai in November last year and continued in Thoothukudi. Produced by Screen Scene Entertainment, the film stars Jayam Ravi, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Dileep in the lead roles in Vathikuchi, Gala, Writer and many more. Sam CS sets the music for the film. Vijay Murugan is in charge of art direction while Vivek is in charge of cinematography.

Most of the scenes in this port-centric film were shot in Thoothukudi and some important scenes were shot in Chennai Coimbatore. The director has also shot at the largest container site in Gujarat, where more than 80 per cent of the scenes have been shot.

Jayam Ravi is said to be playing the role of a sailor in this film. Also Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the role of a policewoman. Recently the first look of the film came out and got attention. Following this, the film crew has now released the intimidating making video of the film. It has also been announced that the shooting of the film has been completed. The teaser of the film has been announced to be released in June. The teaser trailer has just hit the internet.
