"I'M DEVASTATED, HEARTBROKEN..." POPULAR ACTOR-COMEDIAN'S HEARTBREAKING POST ON PUNEETH RAJKUMAR'S DEATH MAKES FANS EMOTIONAL!!

The actor who is also known as 'Power Star', suffered a heart attack while he was working out at the gym today (October 29). He was rushed to Vikram Hospital after he complained of chest pain and was non-responsive upon arrival at the hospital. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai said he was "shocked and deeply saddened" to hear about the sudden demise of "Karnataka's most loved superstar".

Many celebrities poured their condolences for the star including Politicians like Former Prime Minister and JD(S) national president HD Devegowda, Former Karnataka Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, DMK MP Kanimozhi. Celebrities including Chiranjeevi, Dhanush, Sonu Sood, Lakshmi Manchu, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, Shraddha Srinath, Prithviraj, Dulquer Salmaan and many others too mourned his death and tweeted out their grief on social media.

Actor and Comedian Danish Sait shared his feelings on social media and said that he was "heartbroken, devastated and at a loss of words" after hearing about Puneeth's death. Calling him 'Anna', Danish said he was his mentor, his hero and the finest human being in the world. In a long post, he shared his grief and stated that he couldn't fathom this loss.

"My dearest #PuneethRajkumar anna, I love you and I'm really sad and angry that god took you away from us. My condolences to Ash Akka, the kids, the fans, film fraternity, and everybody at PRK productions. Puneeth Anna was a massive star, he will continue to shine. I am fortunate I got to know him at such close quarters, will miss you dearly," he added.

Puneeth is the son of legendary actor Rajkumar and Parvathamma. He has acted as a hero in over 29 Kannada films. Fondly called as 'Appu', Puneeth was last seen in Santhosh Anandrram's 'Yuvarathnaa', which released early this year. The movie starred Puneeth Rajkumar and Sayyeshaa in lead roles. Puneeth is survived by his wife, Ashwini Revanath, and two daughters, Drithi and Vandhitha. Puneeth's elder brother, Shiva Rajkumar, is also a popular actor.
