Actor Pawan Kalyan, the brother of Telugu actor Megastar Chiranjeevi and the leader of the 'Jana Sena' party, has been confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus. He was most recently seen in Vakeel Saab which released on April 9 and received a great response.

Pawan Kalyan recently announced that his aides have been isolated due to having contracted the coronavirus infection. The actor-politician who was examined for coronavirus due to mild fever, has been confirmed to have the virus. He is currently undergoing treatment on the advice of doctors and is at isolation in his farmhouse. The Jana Sena party has released a few photos and his statement to this effect.

“Kalyan is being monitored closely by his personal doctor as well as a team of experts from Apollo Hospitals. There is some flum in his lungs and he is suffering from small bouts of fever. But he is stable,” his political secretary Hariprasad said in a statement.
