Bigg Boss is a Tamil reality show based on the worlidwide phenomenon Big Brother. The show requires fifteen contestants to stay at a house that is installed with over sixty cameras. The show is hosted by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and is entering into its third season
On the second episode of Bigg Boss, which aired worldwide on 25th June, the makers had surprised audiences new, unexpected addition to the contestants' list. The new entry is popular model Meera Mitun. The contestant had to go through a quirky initiation process, where she must give friend requests through various ways, like singing and dancing.
Meera Mitun had won the Miss Tamil Nadu 2016 title and was recently embroiled in a controversy involving the registration of a pageant title. Meera had also acted in films like the Suriya-starrer Thaana Serndha Kootam and Sri Ganesh's 8 Thottakkal.
But upon her entry, two of the show's contestants felt a bit miffed. They are none other than fellow models Sakshi and Abhirami Venkatachalam. The buzz on the internet is the reason for both of them hadn't welcomed Meera like the other contestants, might be due to the fact that the three contestants were involved in the field of modelling, and they might know each other very well and this incident has left the audience with a question that there might be some friction between the two contestants and Meera Mitun. But we need to wait on watch to know the actual reason over their unhappiness. More fireworks expected.
