Bigg Boss 2 fame Harish Kalyan was last seen as 'Gawtham' in Ranjith Jeyakodi's romantic thriller 'Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum' along with Shilpa Manjunath in the lead role. The film starrred Ma Ka Pa Anand and Bala Saravanan in pivotal roles and Sam CS scored the music for the film.
2018 film 'Pyaar Prema Kaadhal' was his first film after coming out of the Bigg Boss house and the film starred another Bigg Boss contestant Raiza Wilson in the lead role. After that, his upcoming film 'Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale' will have Digangana Suryavanshi, an 2017 Salman Khan hosted Hindi Bigg Boss contestant, to share screen space with him.
This role was initially set to be played by Rhea Chakraborty but due to reasons unknown, she has been replaced be Digangana. This film is directed by veteran actor and director Santhana Bharathi's son Sanjay Bharathi. Munishkanth and Renuka will be playing pivotal roles in the film. Ghibran will be scoring the music for the film. Produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the Sree Gokulam Movie banner, The film is said to be a comedy entertainer.
Harish Kalyan is currently involved in films like Venkat Prabhu produced 'Kasada Thapara' by Chimbu Devan, who announced a huge roaster of stars, music directors and technicians for the film earlier and 'Dharala Prabhu' by Krishna Marimuthu which is said to be the remake of Bollywood film 'Vicky Donor'.
