Telugu actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Hari Teja, who recently welcomed a baby girl with husband Deepak, shared an emotional video on Instagram, revealing why she took a break from the platform.
A teary-eyed Hari Teja revealed that she had tested positive for Coronavirus seven days before her due date. "During my pregnancy, I was health-conscious. I ate nutritious food and did Yoga on a regular basis. A week before my delivery, I went for a health check-up. I was excited about my delivery and had a lot of dreams. A week before my delivery, much to my shock, everyone in our family tested positive for coronavirus. I too tested positive,” she revealed.
The actress also said that many doctors refused to admit her for delivery because of her Covid status. She admitted herself in a hospital where doctors were ready to do C-Section on a Covid patient. "I felt lonely because elders couldn't be with us. My husband cared for me day in and day out. Soon after my delivery, my baby was taken away from me because I was a Covid patient. I couldn't feed my baby. It hurt me a lot," Hari Teja said.
