''THIS IS SUCH A WONDERFUL TAKE ON OK KANMANI''

The trailer of OK Jaanu, the official Hindi remake of Mani Ratnam's OK Kanmani, was released on the 12th of December. The remake has Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor reprising Dulquer and Nithya Menen's roles respectively. The trailer received positive feedback from various quarters.
 

Dulquer Salmaan, who played the lead in the original version, tweeted, "This is such a wonderful take on #OKKanmani ! Lots of love to Karan, Shaad, Aditya, Shraddha and the whole team".

OK Jaanu, which is directed by Shaad Ali, has music by A.R.Rahman and cinematography by Ravi.K.Chandran. The film is gearing up for its theatrical release on 13th January.
