"CURSED BY MANY FOR...!" - DIA FAME KUSHI SPEAKS ABOUT THE MOVIE, HER MARRIAGE AND MORE!

The movie received tremendous response not only in Kannada but throughout South India.  Dia follows the story of an introvert girl and subsequently her struggles to establish her love life and settle down with him. Deliberate twists and turns in the story will lead to an unexpected climax and the movie's heroine Kushi, in an exclusive interview to Behindwoods reveals that it was intentional.

Kushi says that the climax in the movie was the one that was decided. "There was not an alternative climax idea. This was the one zeroed in. Many of the audience had cursed us for that, and also we were asked why it happened so. But, I think if Dia had an alternate ending, the movie would not have as much impact and would have been memorable as it now."

She has got tremendous response from audience from Tamil Nadu, Kushi says. "People send love everytime. I didn't think this Dia character would be loved so much. All credits belong to Ashok sir. We weren't able to have fun on the sets. He was very strict. I had to walk like Dia, sit like Dia."

Kushi says she always wanted to work with Vikram, Suriya, and Dulquer Salmaan in Kollywood. The actress is a happy mother of an 18-month daughter with a doting husband. Watch her interview here.
