Popular Superstar, Chiyaan Vikram’s son, Dhruv marks his acting debut with the Telugu hit Arjun Reddy remake, Adithya Varma. The teaser of this was released last week and had received tremendous responses from the audiences and critics alike.

Dhruv pens an emotional note to Vikram for Father’s Day

Directed by Arjun Reddy’s writer-director Sandeep Vanga's assistant, Gireesaaya. Banitha Sandhu of October fame will be featured in the lead and Priya Anand in a supporting role. The music of the film is composed by Radhan and produced under the banner E4 Entertainment.

For the unversed, this film was earlier shot under Bala’s directorial which was titled as Varmaa. The makers later had announced that they were not satisfied with the final output of the shoot and have decided to re-shoot the whole film from the scratch with a completely new cast and crew retaining Dhruv. The team completed the project within a span of just three months.

Vikram played an important role in the project, not onscreen but offscreen where he had entirely devoted himself putting the team together, right from the director to the technical crew. A super-emotional Dhruv penned an emotional father’s day note which read, “For showing up everyday, never giving up, always pushing me to do better, never allowing anyone to settle for less, keeping the vision alive, never losing sight of the bigger picture, never allowing me to lose hope, for giving me and making me ‘Adithya Varma’, leaving no stone unturned, for always having my back and for teaching me everything you have and continue to. None of this would have been possible without you. Someone asked me where your name was in the teaser after he knew how much of yourself you gave for this film everyday... I said it’s right behind mine and everything I do. Belated happy Father’s Day Appa. I hope I do you proud.”
