CONFIRMED: VIJAY ANTONY'S NEXT LOCKS A THEATRICAL RELEASE - HERE'S WHEN!

With many upcoming movies opting for a theatrical release ever since big screens re-opened in Tamil Nadu, one of Vijay Antony's movies too has taken the same route. The makers of 'Kodiyil Oruvan' have announced that the upcoming film will release in theatres on September 17. The film is said to be a political thriller and is directed by Ananda Krishnan of 'Metro' fame. The film has actress Aathmika playing the female lead in the film.

She took to Twitter to share the poster of the film and confirmed that the commercial entertainer will release in theatres worldwide from September 17. The poster had Vijay Antony sitting on top of a few buildings with his one leg on top of another.

Music for the film is scored by Nivas K Prasanna and cinematography is handled by NS Uthaya Kumar. Vijay Antony himself does the editing, and it's his third film as an editor. Meanwhile, the music director-turned-actor's 'Pichaikkaran 2' shoot commenced today (September 1) with a customary pooja ceremony.
