BREAKING: VIJAY ANTONY'S BLOCKBUSTER HIT MOVIE'S SEQUEL GETS A TERRIFIC UPDATE - CHECK NOW!

The makers, who are currently working on the sequel of the film titled 'Pichaikkaran 2', released the poster for the film last year and announced that National Award-winning director Priya Krishnaswamy would be directing the sequel.

But it was recently announced by Director AR Murugadoss that Vijay Antony will don the director's hat for the first time in this film. He is also composing the music and producing this movie. The interesting, or rather confusing first look poster was also revealed, along with a note that the movie will hit big screens in 2022.

Sources in the know have now revealed that the movie's shooting will start from tomorrow (September 1) along with a pooja ceremony.

Apart from Vijay Antony, 'Pichaikkaran 2' also stars John Vijay, Harish Peraddi, YG Mahendra, Ajay Ghosh, Yogi Babu and others. Meanwhile, the ace-actor has a number of films in hand including 'Kodiyil Oruvan', directed by Anand Krishnan, 'Thamezharasan', 'Agni Siragugal', and 'Khaki' in various stages of production.
