Senthil joined the BJP some time ago. He was actively campaigning for the AIADMK alliance in the recently concluded assembly elections. He has now tested positive for covid after displaying symptoms.
Senthil, his wife, son and daughter-in-law have also been confirmed to have the virus. He is receiving treatment with his family at a private hospital. Doctors have said that his condition continues to improve. Senthil and his family are expected to recover soon.
Coronavirus infections are increasing day by day in Tamil Nadu. Many movie stars and political celebrities are getting affected by the virus, so are commoners. The Government of Tamil Nadu is increasing various restrictions.
