The film, titled 'JR 28' is set to be produced by Screen Scene Studios. Jayam Ravi earlier worked with Director Kalyanakrishnan for the 2015 movie 'Bhooloham'.
Now, the latest news regarding the movie is that Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar has been roped in to play the female lead. The shooting of the film is set to start from mid-August. It is touted to be a thriller which is set to have a lot of action sequences.
Jayam Ravi, who was last seen in 'Bhoomi', also has 'Jana Gana Mana' with director Ahmed. Taapsee, Rahman, MS Baskar, Ram, Elnaaz Norouzi, and Nana Patekar are playing important characters in the film. He also has Mani Ratnam's magnum opus film 'Ponniyin Selvan' in the pipeline.
