Making a short film has always been a stepping stone to tell a story in the big screen. For all the aspiring filmmakers, we at Behindwoods, once again give you an opportunity to showcase your talent as our Behindwoods Gold Medals are on their way. Four best short filmmakers will win a chance to narrate a their script to 6 ace film production houses, Sri Thenandal Films, AGS Entertainment, Thirukumaran Entertainment, PVP Cinema, Global United Media, Vijay Antony Film Corporation.

Points to remember

- Your Short film (Tamil/English) can be of any genre but must not exceed 20 minutes.
 

- Please definitely make sure that your Short Film is not available Online for public (YouTube, Vimeo or any other similar platforms).
 

- Behindwoods Gold Medals Ceremony will be held on July 24th, Sunday, in the presence of the biggest names of Tamil Film Industry.
 

- One Best Short Film maker will be presented with the prestigious Behindwoods Gold Medal at the ceremony.

- Three other Best Short Film makers will be given a place of honor in the Behindwoods Gold Wall of Fame.
 

- All the Four Best Short Film makers will get a chance to narrate their scripts to leading producers in Tamil, listed in the page.
 

- Shortfilm submissions should be made on or before 1st July, 2016.
 

- Please remember that you cannot submit the same film you submitted last year.
