'BEHINDWOODS' AKASH GETS A STUNNING ROLE IN DHRUV'S VARMA!

Actor Vikram's son, Dhruv Vikram is making his silver screen debut with Varma, directed by Bala, that is progressing at a brisk pace in Chennai. It is a known fact that 'Varma' is the official Tamil remake of the Telugu blockbuster 'Arjun Reddy' starring Vijay Deverakonda.  A model turned actress from Bengal, Megha has been roped in to play the heroine.
 

But the exciting news here for 'Team Behindwoods' is that our very own Akash Premkumar has been roped in to play an important role in this biggie. Akash will be reprising the role of the character Shiva from Arjun Reddy, i.e, Varma's best friend. It is indeed a proud moment for all of us in the Behindwoods family.
 

Akash featured in brief roles in films like 'Chennai 600028: Second Innings', 'Pandigai', while he is also a part of Vaibhav's upcoming film, RK Nagar. Apart from these films, he is awaiting the release of Bava Lodge, a web series, directed by Sawaari fame Guhan Seniappan, and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures with Bobby Simha in the lead role. He is also a popular face among the social media circle, through a few notable short films, such as 'Gaandu Paravaigal', 'Edhai Thedi Naan Sendren', 'Yaadhum Neeye', and others.
