After bankrolling the highly successul Baahubali series directed by SS Rajamouli, Arka Media Works will be producing the upcoming comedy-drama 'Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya'.
Starring Satyadev, Naresh, Suhaas, Jabbardast Ramprasad, TNR in important roles, Uma Maheswara... is adapted to Telugu and directed by Venkatesh Maha, who had previously helmed the celebrated romance C/O Kancharapalem.
Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya is the Telugu remake of the National Award-winning Malayalam comedy Kumbalangi Nights, which starred Fahadh Faasil, Aparna Balamurali, Anusree in central roles while Dilesh Pothan directed it.
The film was about a simpleton who vows to not wear slippers until he exacts revenge. The teaser appears to be a faithful remake of the original, that promises a comical revenge drama with a twist.
