ASHOK SELVAN'S NEXT ANNOUNCED; TO REUNITE WITH HIS 'OH MY KADUVALE' CO-STAR

Ashok Selvan was last seen in Oh My Kadavule that featured Ritika Singh, Vijay Sethupathi and Vani Bhojan in crucial roles. The romantic comedy went on to become one of the box office blockbusters of 2020.

On the professional front, his upcoming films include Mohanlal's Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, and Ninnila Ninnila - his Tollywood debut, with Nithya Menen and Ritu Varma in the lead roles.

The Telugu film, Ninnila Ninnila is titled 'Theeni' in Tamil and the much-awaited trailer of the film was released last Friday which was well-received by the audiences. Presented by Bapineedu B, the movie is written and directed by Ani. I. V. Sasi.

The teaser narrates the story of Dev (Ashok Selvan), who is overweight and a marvellous chef, suffering from muscle spasms and insomnia. He happens to join a five-star restaurant in London where he meets Tara (Ritu Varma) and Maya (Nithya Menen) and how their lives travel forms the rest of the story.

Taking to his social media, Ashok Selvan revealed that he had to put on 103 kg for the film and almost died reducing it. Sharing a pic of the same, he wrote, “Hey! Meet Dev! The film that is so close to my heart, made with lots of love and effort. Although little prosthetics been used, had put on 103 kgs for this film and almost died reducing it. This film is a very special film and needs all your love and support.” (sic)

Vani Bhojan, on the other hand, was seen in Disney+Hotstar's Triples where she was paired opposite Jai. She is also a part of several projects.
