EXCLUSIVE: ANIRUDH REASONS OUT ON WHY HE USED DEATH METAL IN VIVEGAM’S TEASER

Vivegam teaser has literally grabbed every film lover’s eyeballs. Not just Ajith fans, even people who do not follow cinema much has shown interest towards Vivegam post the teaser release. Ajith’s screen presence, style, and charm are obviously the major reasons for the success of the teaser. There are other facets too like Anirudh’s high octane BGM that sets the mood high.

One of the elements that we noticed in the music was the usage of death metal, a kind of music that is hardly tried in Kollywood. To know more on why Anirudh had given a different treatment to the teaser, we contacted him.

“I wanted to use death metal because the reach of these movies are so big and a new genre for Tamil always helps. So thought death metal will be new for us. Like how I used trap for Vedalam.”
