Although speculations and rumours were strongly rife about the 'Kolaveri Di' composer's entry in the world of RRR, no official word was out for several days. It has now been confirmed that Anirudh has joined hands Lyricist and Composer MM Keeravani to work on the music for the film.
MM Keeravani took to Twitter and wrote, "Had a great session with @anirudhofficial for RRR. Efficacy, energy, talent and a wonderful team of associates are his main assets. above all…so down to earth,” to which Anirudh replied, “It was my pleasure sir. Much love to you and team #RRR.”

Keeravani had earlier collaborated with Director SS Rajamouli for the 'Baahubali' series. Apart from Anirudh, he has also recorded a song with singer, lyricist and music composer Amit Trivedi.
Set in the pre-independence era, RRR stars NTR Jr and Ram Charan essaying the roles of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju respectively while Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Olivia Morris and others play crucial roles. The big-budget project is bankrolled by DVV Movies.
