RAJINI'S ASSOCIATION AFTER 19 YEARS FOR 2.0?

There are many instances where heroines who once romanced a particular star on screen would end up playing the character of the star’s mother years later. One such instance was when the retro beauty, Ambika played the character of Rajinikanth's mother in the super successful Arunachalam (1997).

Recent wide spread talks suggest that director Shankar has approached Ambika to play an important role in the magnum opus project 2.0. If this plan materializes, Rajini and Ambika will be spotted sharing screen space after 19 years.

We still aren't informed about what the relationship of Ambika’s character would be with Rajini. As we have already seen her playing Superstar's mother, we do not know what we are up for from Shankar's end!
