Actor Sivakarthikeyan is currently working on Mr. Local, his next film that will be directed by Rajesh, and produced by Studio Green KE Gnanavel Raja. The film has Nayanthara as the female lead, while actor Sathish, Yogi Babu and others play crucial supporting roles.
Recently, it was announced that the 16th film in his career will be bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures and directed by Pandiraj. This makes it Sivakarthikeyan's 3rd collaboration with Pandiraj, after Marina and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga.
Sources close to us have revealed that Aishwarya Rajesh is speculated as the female lead of the project, but it is not confirmed. They've also informed us that the shoot will begin from April 22, aimed at a Christmas release. We've to wait to get an official update from the production house.
Sivakarthikeyan is also working on a film with Ravikumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame, and another with PS Mithran of Irumbuthirai fame. The film with Mithran has been titled Hero, and the shoot began today with a pooja.
