Karthi recently had his release Dev on February 14 directed by Rajath Ravishankar adn produced S.Lakshman Kumar under the banner Prince Pictures. His latest project has begun shooting today with a pooja.
Actress Rashmika Mandanna was part of the cast of Geetha Govindam where she played a lead role opposite Vijay Deverakonda. She is now set to work with Karthi in Karthi 19 directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan of Remo fame.
Bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures, this film’s shooting began today with a pooja ceremony. With Vivek-Mervin scoring its music, Sathyan Sooryan has taken over cinematography and the cuts are to be handled by Anthony L Ruben. More details on the cast and crew are expected to be announced soon.

Karthi has joined the shoot for the film after the warpping the shoot of his Kaidhi directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj which is also produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The first look poster of Kaidhi was released a few days back which did good rounds on the internet.
