After 25 Years, a production team apart from Madras Talkies to fund Mani Ratnam’s film

The biggest news of the evening has been about Mani Ratnam’s next big multi-starrer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The big multi-starrer happens to have an interesting point to it. With CCV as it is shortly called, after 25 long years, Mani Ratnam has finally decided to break the streak and go with a production team apart from just Madras Talkies.

Ever since Roja happened, Mani Ratnam has always been making films under his own production banner Madras Talkies and some big banners like Reliance and Thenandal Studio Limited have only collaborated to release his respective films like Raavanan and Kaatru Veliyidai. However with CCV, he has finally decided to go with Lyca Productions, who will be jointly producing this venture with Madras Talkies. Stay tuned.

Gautham Menon's tweet on Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam

We all know that director Gautham Menon is a big fan of Mani Ratnam. He has disclosed this at many junctures. On February 9, the title and first look poster of Mani Ratnam's next were revealed. Chekka Chivantha Vaanam's first look poster was loved by a lot of people, and even Gautham Menon didn't step back from expressing his excitement!

He took to his social media pages to share the poster and he also said, "Chief is back in action so very soon and this time he’s armed with an offbeat and parallel best in the business.. and WOW, the four pairs of eyes say it all.. How does one get to be a part of this 😊before seeing it on screen.."

Wouldn't it be an exciting experience to see the two master directors join hands?
