Just as it was predicted, the much-awaited Glimpse of Valimai was dropped by the makers and it featured some high-octane action sequences from Ajith Kumar. The video starts with a quote, "Power, Boundless power. This is what is needed now" and goes on to feature heavy stunts by bikers high up in the air. Ajith comes in a mass-y style amidst fire and sparks. We can also see Karthikeya, the villain calling Ajith's name 'Arjun' as he accuses him of stroking his ego. The rest looks like a cat-and-mouse game between the duo, each chasing each other in bikes at high speeds. The pinnacle is at the climax, which you have to see to feel the exhilaration!

Producer Boney Kapoor took fans by surprise and excitement when he announced yesterday (September 22) that 'Valimai' would release for Pongal 2022. Earlier it was speculated that the action-entertainer would clash with Rajinikanth’s 'Annaatthe' which is hitting the screens on November 4, on the occasion of the Deepavali. Silambarasan's 'Maanaadu' too hits theatres on the same day.

'Valimai' which is helmed by H Vinoth stars Thala Ajith in the lead role where he plays an upright cop. The film is one of the most-anticipated in recent times. 'Valimai' also marks the actor-director duo's second project under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner post the 2019 courtroom drama 'Nerkonda Paarvai'. The movie stars Huma Qureshi, Pearle Maaney, Yogi Babu and Kartikeya Gummakonda. The music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja while the camera is cranked by DOP Nirav Shah.
