Art director Jayashree talks about her Vanamagan movie and the hurdles they faced

Director Vijay’s next titled Vanamagan starring Jayam Ravi and Sayyesha is a forest based action adventure film. The movie which has music by Harris Jayaraj has ecstatic art work by art director Jayashree. In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, Jayashree shared information on her Vanamagan:

Jayam Ravi is one of the sweetest actors and human beings I have known. Vanamagan is a very special film. Generally, art directors fail to get credits for their work on the teaser card. But director Vijay has given me the credits for my sets and the entire team, including Jayam Ravi were really happy with my sets and art work. The biggest hurdles that we faced while shooting for Vanamagan were animals like tigers and bears that might have interrupted the shoot or attacked the people. However, shooting within a forest, we had to be ready for it.”
