KABALI AND MIRUDHAN SHARE THE SAME SPOT ...

After the blockbuster success of Thani Oruvan, Jayam Ravi is currently shooting for the Shakti Soundar Rajan directed Mirudhan. The film had some major portions shot in Ooty and now a massive set worth about 1.5 crores is being put up in Binny Mills, Chennai where a significant portion of the film, including the climax, would be shot from coming Monday over the following 15 days. The team plans to positively wrap up the complete shoots by Diwali time. 2 songs have been shot so far and Imman takes credit for the music.

 

Interestingly, the Mirudhan team was recently shooting in Binny Mills and Rajini - Ranjith's Kabali was also being shot at the same spot. Both Shakti Soundar Rajan and Ranjith are former assistants of Venkat Prabhu and they had worked together in Saroja. We hear that Ranjith, Kalaiyarasan dropped over to the Mirudhan sets to exchange some words with the team.
