THE THALA AJITH FACTOR IN JAYAM RAVI'S NEXT ...

Director Shakti Soundar Rajan is currently busy canning his next film with Jayam Ravi, where Lakshmi Menon plays the female lead. Kaali Venkat and Sreeman are also in the film, with the latter being cast as the main comedian. Baby Anikha of Yennai Arindhaal fame is also playing an important role in the film.

 

The first schedule of the film was recently wrapped in Ooty with about 40% of the film shot there. The team is currently sitting on the edits for the portions shot so far. The second schedule would be commenced in September with the team planning to wrap the remaining shoots in a single stretch before Diwali, around places like Chennai and Hyderabad. The post production work would be extensive post this, due to the CG factor.

 

The director is known to be a proud fan of Thala Ajith and interestingly, the Ajith factor in his new film is hard to ignore. Lakshmi Menon is currently acting with Ajith in 'Thala 56', while Baby Anikha had a major presence in the star's Yennai Arindhaal as mentioned above.
