THE WAIT FOR AMY AND ANIRUDH!

Deepan Boopathy, the producer of Aakko and the Vijay Sethupathi starrer Mellisai talks to Behindwoods about his debut production venture and its follow up project.

From what we see from the teaser, Mellisai looks to be sleekly made thriller film. The audio of the movie which was released recently has met with some good reviews among critics and this is what the producer of the film had to say about Mellisai.

“Mellisai was shot entirely in Chennai in a span of 62 days, we are looking for a perfect release window and post Diwali would be our ideal option to unleash the film.”

Aakko, which is largely known for Anirudh’s blockbuster single track Enakenna Yaarum Illaye is another film that has been in the pipeline for some time now.

Deepan on Aakko,

“Aakko will be having 5 mesmerizing songs from Anirudh. We are planning to shoot a promo song featuring Amy Jackson and Anirudh soon. Apart from that, the entire film is ready. Aakko, again, will be a thriller which has been completely shot in Chennai over 58 days. We are planning to release both Aakko and Mellisai within this year.”
