The most essential factor to create ripples at the box-office is also controlled by a catalyst called 'Promotional activities'. When Bollywood actors are also booked and paid for promoting their films, the trend is slowly picking up in our very own Kodambakkam. 

 

Promoting films are not just restricted to wall posters, paper-ads, hoardings, TV and radio spots. Producers are hiring exclusive teams to promote their films with novel ideas, attention grabbing campaigns and interesting contests.

 

There were times when grand audio launches happened outside the country (still happening though), but slowly the idea is transforming into cost-effective soft launches. With single track launch also becoming an outdated idea, Team Masss has definitely come up with the most edgy strategy to launch their songs. With the title track Therikudhu Masss having been released by 9 AM today morning, there will be songs from the Suriya starrer released in 2 hour intervals throughout the day by different celebrities, creating a hype and setting an expectation throughout the day.

 

The songs will also be played one by one in 5 different radio stations taking the idea one step higher. Such innovations are to be welcomed with both hands. Hats off to team Masss for making this day really special for Yuvan fans !
