A REALISTIC COMMERCIAL FILM FROM A YOUNG TEAM

Vil Ambu is an upcoming movie directed by Ramesh Subramaniam featuring Harish Kalyan and Sri in the lead roles. The film is funded by Suseenthiran and recently had its music launched. Navin takes care of the score.

 

Vil Ambu is ready for release and would have a crisp run time of about 2 hours 10 mins. The censor certificate is expected soon. We had a quick chat with the handsome lead hero, Harish, about the film

 

"Vil Ambu would be a realistic commercial film and would have a live feel like you generally experience in Suseenthiran sir's films. The 2nd half would be in the action thriller space. I play the role of an ambitious middle class lad living in a colony while Sri plays a nearby slum dweller. We aren't friends in the film and whether our characters influence one another is the film's crux which would be established in the film's opening narration itself. Srushti plays my college time girlfriend. In my segment, the father-son angle would have a key part in the proceedings."
