3 MEMORABLE YEARS PACKED WITH 23 MOVIES

Comedy actor Karunakaran has completed a 3 year journey in Tamil cinema and he has had quite a successful run indeed. He has sent an elaborate thanksgiving letter to mark this occasion.

 

As I mark my 3 years journey in the Tamil cinema industry with over 23 movies, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has made a huge difference in building my career.

 

It's 3 years since Kalakalappu got released and I thank Director Sundar C sir for giving me my debut in Kalakalappu with a significant role. He not only got me into acting in the big screen but has also made me explore my screenplay skills.

 

Director Karthik Subbaraj and Director Nalan Kumarasamy had written roles keeping me in mind while they developed the screenplay, and these roles helped me get significant recognition from all.

 

My heartfelt thanks to all the three for making a huge difference in my career.

 

My sincere thanks to Director K.S. Ravikumar sir and Rajini sir for giving me an opportunity in Lingaa and to play a key role in the film. It was a lifetime opportunity which I will cherish forever.

 

Thanks to all my producers, directors and co-artists who helped me through this journey in the last 3 years. Each of my characters has been different and I have had the privilege to work with a variety of artists.

 

As I near my 25th movie, I would like to thank the press and media for making me successful by highlighting the good and bad in what I do. Your constructive criticism helps me learn from my mistakes.

 

Special Thanks to the audience who appreciate and recognise my work consistently and keep me motivated.
