Ilayathalapathy is bowled over by his 'Vijay 58' co-star

Kannada superstar Sudeep's recent outing in his home state, Maanikya has turned out to be a record breaking blockbuster in Karnataka. Sudeep also directed this film, which was the remake of the Telugu superhit Mirchi, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar was also part of the film. 

 

Sudeep will next be seen in Tamil opposite Ilayathalapathy Vijay in a film to be directed by Chimbudevan (Vijay 58). Vijay recently happened to see a special screening of Maanikya in Four Frames preview theatre in Chennai and he was apparently floored by what he saw. It seems Vijay praised Sudeep to the skies.

 

With the two stars sharing the screen space in the same movie in a few months' time, the prospects are mighty exciting indeed.
