''I couldn't miss the opportunity to work with Anirudh''

Naanum Rowdydhaan's director, Vignesh Shivan has tight schedules with not only direction but also as a part-time lyricist. The youngster had recently penned the lyrics for Ajith in 'Adhaaru Udhaaru' from GVM's 'Yennai Arindhaal' and got appreciated by the director himself. Recently, he also wrote the lyrics for Anirudh's 'Aakko' single song which was unveiled recently.

 

When we contacted the director, he said that he couldn't give up the opportunity to write lyrics for Anirudh's music and previously for Ajith in Yennai Arindhaal. "I am not entirely into lyric writing but I am selectively doing it for now".

 

The shooting of his next, Naanum Rowdydhaan starts this month-end in Chennai. Starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara in the lead, the movie is touted to be a Chennai based movie and most of the shoot will be done in the city itself. Anirudh is scoring music for the movie.

 

With a lot of expectations brewing from the movie's side, looks like the team is ready to entertain the audience.
