“Soundarya, the nation will be proud of you” – Rajinikanth

Even before the launch of her most awaited, Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiiyaan, debutante director Soundarya R Ashwin has been awarded with a huge honour. A leading television channel, honoured her with Indian of the Year – Technical Innovation in Films Award.
 

Soundarya, thanking the media for the prestigious award, briefed the gathering about the Photorealistic Motion Capture Technology that has been used to make Kochadaiiyaan. While Ranbir Kapoor presented the award to Soundarya, her father Rajinikanth had a special message for her. Congratulating her for the honour, the Superstar said, “After watching the film, I turned to Soundarya and said, “Soundarya, I’m proud of you and the nation will be proud of you.” Congratulations!”
