Creating the World of Ramanujan

Ramanujan is an upcoming biopic on the mathematical genius, directed by National Award Winner, Gnana Rajasekaran. The film is produced by four young entrepreneurs, Srivatsan Nadathur, Sushant Desai, Sharanyan Nadathur and Sindhu Rajasekaran, under the banner Camphor Cinema. The movie stars Abhinay Vaddi in the lead and Bhama, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Kevin McGowan, Abbas, Nizhalgal Ravi, Delhi Ganesh, Y GEE Mahendra and Sarath Babu in supporting characters.
 

The makers have decided to release a series of videos on the making of Ramanujan and announcing the decision, the producers say, “Our behind the Scenes Featurettes will give the audience an insight into the hard work we put into the film, and a glimpse of the grandeur depicted - of British India and England during WWI. The Behind the Scenes team accompanied us to all the shoots and has captured amazing and interesting things that go on behind the camera. We have left no stone unturned, and can assure that our Featurettes and the movie would appeal to all age groups!”
 

About the Featurettes, the director of the film, Gnana Rajasekaran said, “Given that 'Ramanujan' is a period film and shot in England and India, we have done tremendous research to portray the right look and feel of early 1900's. We're glad to allow the audience a glimpse of what goes on behind the camera.  The crew - the cinematographer, art director and costume designer - have gone into intricacies and made sure that the film authentically depicts Ramanujan's world. And the cast, Indian and British, were extremely dedicated and lived their characters. It was truly wonderful working with a multinational cast and crew - the Behind the Scenes Featurettes records this collaboration.”
