‘Friendu... Love matteru...’ Daniel now joins Dhanush’s jungle saga

The long in the planning Vetri Maaran project, starring Dhanush in the lead is now likely to go on floors in March 2014. Actor Daniel, who caught the attention with his stunning performance in Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, has apparently been roped in to play Dhanush’s buddy in the movie.
 

The rest of the cast will be fixed soon in the coming days. Meanwhile, the team has zeroed in on a forest in Bangkok to shoot the major portion of the film, which has been tentatively titled Vengai Samy.
 

On a different note, Dhanush has also started his second Hindi project, with director Balki, Amitabh Bachchan and Akshara Haasan. The Aadukalam actor and Vetri Maaran are themselves planning on a Bollywood project.
 

With Velai Illa Pattadhari coming to a wrap up and set to release during the summer, more exciting announcements are expected from Dhanush’s camp.
