Perfect start to 'Vijay 58'

After the stupendous success of Kaththi, Ilayathalapathy Vijay has moved on to his next project under Chimbudevan’s direction. The film is currently untitled but goes by the name of Vijay 58 for all practical purposes.

The project being funded by Shibu Thameens and P T Selvakumar will have Vijay playing dual roles with Hansika, Shruti Haasan, Sridevi and Kicha Sudeep in important roles.

The film went on floors today in the massively erected castle set at the ECR with a song shoot that is said to involve about 160 to 180 dancers along with Vijay and Hansika. Hansika's make-up and costumes for this song would befit her role as a princess and the director is said to have taken great care in designing her looks. The song is choreographed by Raju Sundaram

Quite excited about the film, Hansika took to her microblogger to share her happiness, “#Vijay58  song shoot, set, costume, production values  ....MASSIVE !!! Perfect start”.

Prior to the commencement of the shoot, the film's 'pooja' was done at around 9 30 in the morning with Vijay, Hansika and many film personalities in attendance. This song shoot will go on for 5 days, after which the talkie portions would be started.
